The meanness continues

Yesterday at work, I got this picture from Mary. Last night, it was a picture from the Anaheim Ducks playoff game. Today she texted me from Knott's Berry Farm. This isn't really a convention. It is a vacation with a few meetings mixed in. (Is the green in my eyes showing?)

I do think it is a great opportunity for Madi to see some of the world out there. I just wish I was there too. Have I mentioned that I love the beach?

My mean sister Mary

This afternoon as it was snowing here in Salt Lake, my sister Mary sent me this picture on my cell phone. That was just adding insult to injury. Mary is in Anaheim this week with Madi at her DECA convention. They are also doing a ton of fun things. They went to Disneyland yesterday, Laguna Beach today, and will be stopping in Las Vegas on the way home next weekend. There both Mary and Madi will be going to see Cher in concert. Life is just not fair.

Kathy's Birthday

We celebrated Kathy's 60th Birthday on Friday night. She didn't want to be 60 so we had two thirty Birthday's. Happy Birthday Kathy, we love you!!

Addy's Field trip

Bret went on Addy's field trip to the Children's Museum and the Clark Planetarium. Addy and her classmate Julia ran me ragged. It was a great time though.

Bret's Foot

I got the staples out of my foot. (I wanted to post pictures, but Carole said no!!!) But anyway, my foot is healing great. Should be golfing in a month, yah!!!! Can hardly wait to try my new driver out.

As you can see, Bret did get a picture of us on the blog. This was taken New Year's Eve at the Utah - Gonzaga game. It is definitely one of our better pictures. Bret is very good at figuring out the technical aspects of this kind of thing. That is good because I am totally lost when it comes to the computer. Even if I do work on one all day.

Anyhow, we were very happy the night the picture was taken. I was sure that Utah beating Gonzaga at basketball was sure sign that Utah would beat Alabama at football in the Sugar Bowl. I am not sure how the intracacies of the signs work, but they do. It was just a good omen. Now, if the basketball team could have done something in the tournament. Oh, well, maybe next year.

My first post

Since Bret and I don't really do a lot, this will most likely be my personal rants. I have to admit that more than anything, I just liked the name. However, from time to time, there will be pictures (once Bret figures out how to do that) and actual stories. In the meantime, welcome to our blog!
