Can you say CRAZY HAIR!!

As the girls stayed over on Saturday, Kate just had crazy hair all weekend.
It was a great weekend, went to Kate favorite place "McDonalds". Watched 'Garfields Thanksgiving'. It was just alot of fun.

Relections

Addison did a school project called REFLECTION. She did such a great job, that it was displayed at Barns and Noble bookstore. We are so proud of you Addy.

Weekend with the girls

We had the girls for the weekend, went to a petting zoo at Gardner Village. A musical at Sandy Ampatheather, and Hogle Zoo. It was a great time.

Happy Father's Day!!

Carole and I went to the Porcupine Restraunt for Father's day Brunch. Ryan, Ashlee, Travis, Jill, Alec, Cassidy and Jim were there. Lance and Cheryl stopped by to visit, but didn't say to eat.

It was a great time! Happy Father's Day Guy's!!!

I'm finally healed!!!

I finally am able to wear both shoes. I have healed enough. I am so excited to go golfing if it ever stops raining.

TOTALLY SHOCKING

This is part of my rehabilitation, getting electrical pads stuck to my thighs, calves and feet. One a week, I get a electical shock to help my neuropathy. It's suppose to stimulate the nerves in my legs and feet to stop the pain. I have the machine to the max and can't feel a thing. The muscles contract, but can't feel a thing.

American Idol

Kris is the new American Idol. I really liked Adam also so I wouldn't have been disappointed if he won. And I have to admit, I was a little worried Tuesday night because they had him sing "Ain't No Sunshine" Another of my top ten most hated songs. People just need a little more boom boom boom. It was fun to watch though. They had Cyndi Lauper on who is one of my favorites.

Jim's birrthday

Saturday night we went up to Jim and Kathy's to celebrate Jim's birthday. It was a great dinner and very fun. Jill and Travis were there with the kids. A very laid back time. Hope you had a great birthday, Jim.

Kate's Dance Recital

Kate had her dance recital Friday. She was so cute and danced so well. She really is such a joy.

After the recital, we all went to Blue Plate Diner like she wanted. Congratulations Kate, you are a star!

American Idol

After watching this whole season, I want Kris to win. Last night, Adam sang an Aerosmith song and not being an Aerosmith fan, it did nothing for me. Danny sang "You are so beautiful" by Joe Cocker. That has to be in my top ten all-time most hated songs. And he sang it even worse than Joe Cocker. I really didn't think that was possible. Even though I didn't recognize the songs Kris sang, I still think he performed so much better than the others. It will be interesting to see what happens tonight.

The other funny thing is that Bret won't watch with me and he is on the computer the whole time the show is on. However, there are only french doors between the computer and the tv so he can hear the whole thing. So the entire length of the show he is commenting on what he hears. Drives me crazy.

Back to work Monday

As you can see, the graph is doing great.(Carole made me delete it.) Dr Larsen said it should be all closed up in a week. I start back to work Monday. I'm sure I'm going to have to be retrained. I am kind of glad to be going back to work, because I'm so stir crazy. I know, most of you think get rid of the stir.

Mother's Day

Sunday, Ashlee and Ryan had everyone over for Mother's Day. It was a really fun gathering. Jim and Kathy were there along with Ashlee's Grams and her Nana and grandpa. Her mom and Lance along with Brooke and her family were also there. As you can see, we have no pictures because I seem to still be working on the idea that in order to have pictures for the blog, I need to take the camera. Anyhow, thanks, Ryan and Ashlee, it was a wonderful brunch with even better company.

Jungle Book

We went to see Jungle Book at the childrens' theater Saturday and as usual, it was an excellent performance. Cheryl brought Miles and Tyler so it was a really fun outing for all the cousins. Don't they look sweet together?

Addy's school carnival

Last Friday night, they had a fundraiser at Addy's school. It really was a blast. There were different booths, bounce houses and a hot dog dinner. The girls had a good time, especially with the cotton candy after dinner.

Fun in the office last week

My friend Mark was in the office last week. He lives in Palm Springs but came up to help with the move we are doing next week. He moved to Palm Springs 2 years ago and I really do miss him. He just makes me laugh.

Golfing in 2 weeks

< The Dr. said I could golf in 2 weeks. I'm so excited!! As you can see (I know Carole's going to make me delete picture, and is going to be mad that I posted it.) but it is doing great.

I plan to go back to work on May 18. I have mixed emotions about that. I'm going to have to be retrained I'm sure. got caught, had to delete picture.

The meanness continues

Yesterday at work, I got this picture from Mary. Last night, it was a picture from the Anaheim Ducks playoff game. Today she texted me from Knott's Berry Farm. This isn't really a convention. It is a vacation with a few meetings mixed in. (Is the green in my eyes showing?)

I do think it is a great opportunity for Madi to see some of the world out there. I just wish I was there too. Have I mentioned that I love the beach?

My mean sister Mary

This afternoon as it was snowing here in Salt Lake, my sister Mary sent me this picture on my cell phone. That was just adding insult to injury. Mary is in Anaheim this week with Madi at her DECA convention. They are also doing a ton of fun things. They went to Disneyland yesterday, Laguna Beach today, and will be stopping in Las Vegas on the way home next weekend. There both Mary and Madi will be going to see Cher in concert. Life is just not fair.
